African Journalism Studies (AJS) invites scholars and practitioners to submit research articles for a special issue on Indigenous Language Community Media, Cultural Studies and Participatory Development: Lessons from the African Continent. The issue aims to explore strategies, theoretical insights, and practices that showcase the role of African language media in participatory development, cultural studies, and the public sphere, addressing the under-researched and marginalised areas of the continent.
