Critical Arts, a peer-reviewed journal publishing six issues a year, invites papers that influence the ways in which disciplines think about themselves. Critical Arts includes critical dialogues generated within the South-North and East-West relationships, with special reference to Africa. Original articles by Nobel Laureates J. M. Coetzee and Nadine Gordimer. Also, Stuart Hall, Ntongela Masilela, Handel Kashope Wright, Nhamo Mhiripiri, Francis Lukhele and many from within Africa and from the African diaspora.
Critical Arts is subscribed to by over 13 000 university and other libraries in South Africa, Africa, the USA, China and Europe via Taylor & Francis and UNISA Press. They offer full-time administrative support and extensive publisher services, plus publication in various formats.
