The African Journalism Education Network (Ajen) is planning a follow up round table meeting in
Nairobi in early September 2024.
Though detailed plans are still being finalised, it is likely the event will be held in conjunction with a
planned Konrad Adenauer Memorial lecture at the Aga Khan University.
Further details will be made available as soon as they become available.
I am looking forward to the details and learning how I can participate. I have been interested in journalism education as a research field since the pandemic and I have three research outputs with colleagues from the University of Zambia, a conference paper, a forthcoming article and a recently published personal reflection, “What the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light about journalism education in Zambia: A reflexive analysis of the transition to online teaching and learning” in the Journal of Digital Educational Technology (https://doi.org/10.30935/jdet/14474).
I am looking forward to interacting with other educators when the time comes!
